The Goldman Institute's goal is to bridge the gap between academia, policy, and the general public. By connecting these worlds, we can ensure equity for marginalized people and communities through active engagement on the local, national, and international level.
One of the key assets for change is knowledge. The Goldman Institute's primary objective is to train everyday people to become researchers in their communities. The Goldman Institute is tasked by providing the tools to create scholars to tackle issues in their communities, without the burden of debt.
Education is our top priority. We achieve this through weekly study groups, workshops, and publishing our research through reports, book reviews, and interviews. The way we achieve this is not only through the conventional peer-review process but through a mixed-methods, mixed-medium approach through writings, social media, audio, and video. Keeping with our mission to equity, we want to disseminate our ideas for everyone to access.
